Sharing Interesting Ancestors with Family--Do you want to share your family history research and enthusiasm with your relatives, but find that their eyes tend to glaze over when you pull out your pedigree charts and family group sheets? Try presenting the information to them in bite-size chunks, one interesting ancestor at a time, using brief, 1-3 page narratives with visual impact. Register Wednesday, 12 Jul 2023 at 1:00 PM  Meet the Pilgrims You know them as monuments and myths, but in this session, we will get to know the Pilgrims as people! Understand their family ties, their jobs, their hopes, and their failures. Learn how our Pilgrim ancestors made gut-wrenching decisions while fleeing from England to Holland and finally to the New World where they survived to help found a new nation! Coffey This will be a hybrid meeting held in-person in the Local History Room and online via Zoom. Register Saturday, 15 Jul 2023 at 11:00 AM Program Meeting--Summer Workshop Summer Workshop (2 hours) -Get Started on Your Family Tree. Learn to create your family tree – together! Whether you bring your family or attend alone, this is a great way to introduce genealogy into your family and learn the foundations of collecting family history. This easy, step-by-step training will bring you together as it brings history alive. We will show you that collecting historical facts about real family members is exciting, as we work on a fun project to Find Franklin!
