Saturday, 2 April, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. Tombstone Cleaning Field Trip at Largo Municipal Cemetery with Andrew Lumish.
When: Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.
Where: 1232-1298 Jasper St., Largo
Directions:
· On Missouri Ave N turn East on Jasper St (has traffic light)
· Drive to end of Jasper St and turn left on S. Betty Lane
· Turn left to entrance to the cemetery, Old Section
· Volunteers will direct where to park
Supplies to bring:
· Gallon of water
· Spray bottle or pump sprayers
· Soft brushes (soft like toothbrush)
· Clean rags or old clean towels
· Waterproof gloves (optional)
· Folding chair
· Hat and sunscreen (if you need them)
Wear comfortable shoes
PGS will provide drinking water and snacks and Andrew will bring the D/2 solution.
Please note: There are no bathrooms or running water at the cemetery. At the corner of Missouri Ave N & Jasper street is a McDonald’s, that has very few bathrooms. Walmart has bathrooms – at corner of Missouri Ave N & Jasper, turn left onto Missouri; then turn left at the next light, Rosery Rd; then turn right in Walmart parking lot.
