Ancestry.com Provides Logic for Multi-generational DNA testing

Everyone has their own reasons for taking a DNA test, so who in the family to test is a personal decision. But if you are new to genetic genealogy, you may like to see some rationale contributing to that testing question. An article in the Ancestry Blog by J. Smith titled "How Many DNA Tests Does One Family Need?" does that.

Admittedly, since Ancestry is a testing company, they have an interest in seeing lots of people getting tested. That aside, the article gives a concise, understandable explanation of the possible gains that might flow from different members of your family (siblings, parents, grandparents, cousins, uncles, aunts, and even children) being tested.
