The Annual Pinellas Genealogy Society Seminar, co-sponsored by the Largo Public Library, is scheduled for 22 February 2020 at the Largo Public Library from 8 am to 4 pm.
This all-day event features four presentations by renowned genealogist, lecturer, educator, and author Dr. Thomas Jones, the primary speaker. His four presentations are titled (1) “Solving the mystery of the Disappearing Ancestor,” (2) “Methods of Proving Parentage,” (3) “Five Proven Techniques for Finding Your Ancestor's European Origin,” and (4) “Creating a Family History of Lasting Value.”
We will also have presentations from three breakout speakers: “Family History Research & DNA: Tying the Two Together” by Denise Manning, “A Miscellany of Lesser-Known English and Welsh Family History Resources – 1640 to the Present” by Liz Pearson, and “Using Google Effectively to Supplement Your Research” by Lori Coffey.
In addition to the speakers, the event boasts a continental breakfast, box lunch, door prizes, book sale, and plenty of time to network with guest organizations and other researchers.
