Monday, 25-Mar-19 at 10:00 AM--Ancestry Family Trees– Part 2. Publishing your tree on Ancestry.com can be a great way to share your research with others, as well as to provide a backup for your work. This presentation covers how to start a family tree on Ancestry.com, and how to maintain it. Thursday, 28-Mar-19 at 10:15 AM--WAR OF 1812: This class seeks to provide an understanding of the historical significance of the War of 1812: it looks at the causes of the war, how it was fought, and its consequences. It then explores the genealogically relevant records generated in relation to the war: what they are, and where to find them. Instructor: Summers, Local History Room, Largo Library.
Saturday, 30-Mar-19 at 12:00-4:00 PM--Family History Assistance Day.Genealogists from the Pinellas Genealogy Society will be on hand to help you find your ancestors.  Free, individual assistance will be provided to each person who attends.  Be sure to bring what you know (names, dates, places of birth, death, marriages, residence, etc.) concerning your parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.
