Those of you doing newspaper research are probably aware of the great collection of digitized newspapers at Chronicling America at the Library of Congress website. You are also probably aware that the collection, large as it may be, is limited to the years 1836-1922.
That apparently is changing now, as reported By Lisa Louise Cooke in her Blog, Genealogy Gems." Over time, that date range for the digitized collection of some papers may change to as early as 1690 and as late at 1963.
