Index of Prisoners of the First World War

The International Committee of the Red Cross has launched a website providing an index of prisoners of WWI. The site’s goal is to put up approximately five million records, and the vast majority of that has been accomplished already.

The records (index cards) represent many of the combatants, even some of the lesser known ones like Serbia and Bulgaria.
