Cemeteries of Columbus, Georgia

If you have ancestors buried in Columbus, Georgia, you will be interested in this site. The Columbus Public Works Department website has a database covering four cemeteries, two of which date from the early 1800’s, another from 1890, and the fourth from 1946.

The cemeteries are Linwood, Porterdale, Riverdale, and East Porterdale.

When you get to the home page, click the “Cemeteries” link at the top of the left pane. That will take you to the search screen. You can search for a cemetery to browse, of search directly for a name.
